Our client, a manufacturer of highly engineered mechanical components in Painesville, OH, is seeking the right person to fill the role of a Test Stand Repair  Maintenance Technician with their company! 

1st Shift 
Hourly  depends on experience 

Job Summary
Maintaining all test strands, performing repairs and preventative maintenance, updating maintenance logs. Working knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical. Able to perform advanced troubleshooting on production equipment. 

Responsibilities 

• Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance and service for all production test stands (Hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical) and shop compressors 
• Test stand repair  and upgrade including pump and motor teardown and repair
• Work with outside contractors to perform building upkeep ( HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing) 
• Work with Production Managers and Manufacturing Engineering group to target equipment improvement and productivity projects 
• Place purchase orders for equipment supplies

Requirements

• Hands on experience in hydraulic and pneumatic test repair 
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, and electrical systems 
• Forklift and scissor lift
• Project management/execution, including capital projects 
• Strong communication and team skills

5+ years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
