TITLE OF IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: CARE DESIGNER/REGISTERED NURSE

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

The Home Care Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant is a member of the Nurse Next Door Team and will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity and safety of a client’s care.

We are looking for Caregivers who go ABOVE and BEYOND for those they care and desire top pay for their hard work. We provide care throughout Fairfax and Arlington Counties to aging adults in their homes.

JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

      Performs duties as assigned by Care Designer/RN

                including baths, oral hygiene, skin care, pressure relief, dressing, feeding, and transferring clients.

     Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes client safety.

Follow principles of infection control and Universal Precautions.
Identifies and participates in performance improvement activities.

     Identifies and communicates findings to the Care Designer/RN and documents appropriately.

     Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

    Ability to work in the United States

      Have access to reliable transportation     

   Have current immunizations to include flu and COVID or be willing to obtain it before hire

      Negative TB test or chest X-ray

   Have strong communication skills
