Valley Regional Medical Center – Brownsville, TX

Valley Regional Medical Center is a 214 Licensed Bed Facility with over 200 physicians representing over 25 specialties; Valley Regional Medical Center is a leader in a vast array of high quality inpatient and outpatient programs and services.  

What you will do in this role: 
• The transporter is responsible for the transport and care of patients to and from department at the request and direction of licensed medical personnel and assist with the daily activities of the Radiology.
• Demonstrate ability to perform data collection on assigned patient as directed by licensed nursing personnel.
• Demonstrate ability to assist in and accompanies patients in the admission, transfer and discharge procedure.

 

Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

• Candidates with one-year experience in this field are preferred.

• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification is required.
