Registered Nurse - RN

LTC, Rehab, Skills Facility 

Connected Health Care has been engaged by a long term care facility near Cedar Falls, IA. This facility needs an RN to join their team. They are looking for someone that is passionate about helping others and looking for a new opportunity to grow in their career!

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing. 
• Current RN license by State of Iowa Board of Nursing. 
• Geriatric care experience preferred. 
• Current CPR certification. 
• Staff Nurses are required to complete annual 12-hour in-service training programs as well as any CEU required for licensure.
• At least one year's experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is required. 

Job Responsibilities/Details:

• Assists in supervision and administration of quality nursing care for the facility. 
• Assist in maintaining a physical, social, and psychological environment which will be conducive to the best interest and welfare of the resident. 
• Evaluation of residents needs, conditions, and care.
• General nursing duties assigned.
• Communication with family members.
• Assisting physicians.
• Maintaining unit records, including charting duties
• In charge of admission, discharge, or transfer of residents.
• Pass medications as needed and comply with all medication requirements.
• Organize time effectively to complete all tasks.
