Essential Functions:
Translate business requirements into design and implementation for IP Telephony and contact center software.
Oversee the implementation of IP Telephony and contact center software, evaluating potential risks and developing appropriate solutions.
Identify system/network problems at remote locations, providing appropriate solutions quickly and efficiently.
Develop training materials and lead train the trainer classes.
Provide on-going technical assistance to end users and inter department co-workers.
Understand end-user systems and processes.
Proactively analyze potential issues and provide solutions that meet end-user needs without compromising system integrity and capabilities.
Provide help desk support for escalated issues related to telecommunications equipment and call reporting issues.
Coordinate with Network Engineers and System Administrations to manage converged networks, unified services, MACs.
Monitor networks and systems at remote locations and quickly take effective corrective actions.
Provide on-going phone system support to legacy system including but not limited to moves, voicemail, coverage paths, etc.
Participate in on-call rotation for after- hours support.
Refine and update technical and business skills through work assignments, advanced technical and business training, attending professional and business industry conferences and actively participating in professional organizations.
Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objective


Education:
Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.


Work Experience:
4+ years related experience in unified communications required.
Project Management experience preferred.


Skills and Abilities:
Must possess strong networking knowledge.
Must be able to resolve complex end-user issues.
Must be able to work independently and with little supervision.
Must possess strong communication skills and be able to have effective interactions with technical and nontechnical co-workers and employees.
Must be able to multi-task and possess strong attention to details.
