Unit Manager-Registered Nurse (RN)-Full Time

Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury is a one-of-a-kind rehabilitation and community re-entry facility in Lake Katrine, NY (near Kingston, NY), specializing in:

• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• Ventilator Care and Ventilator Weaning
• Neurobehavioral Disorders
• Complex Medical Recovery

We are currently looking for Unit Manager-Registered Nurse (RN)-Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Provides supervision, management, support and leadership for nursing personnel to perform total quality patient care.
• Coordinates the nursing staff and assists in the accomplishment of nursing tasks in compliance with the established philosophies, objectives, policies and procedures of the department and the facility.
• Remains knowledgeable of and enforces the regulations and standards required by Medicare, Medicaid, Federal, State and local governments.
• Experienced in leadership, supervision, or teaching
• Able to make decisions with good nursing judgment and handle emergencies
• Maintains excellent patient assessment skill
• Maintain current BLS
• Bachelor degree preferred
• Ability to successfully multitask in a fast paced environment

Requirements:

• Licensed in NYS as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience in long-term care setting
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. 
• Must have demonstrated ability to make decisions with good nursing judgment, handle emergencies and maintain excellent patient assessment skill.
