Providence is calling a Unit Secretary Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) (Surgical Short Stay Unit, Variable Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula , Montana. In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

• Accurately record specimens obtained and label appropriately
• Apply patient identification and allergy bands
• Assist in orienting families
• Provide information to families in a positive and courteous manner
• Assist with patient’s comfort and mobility needs
• Complete accurate intake and output
• Complete and document personal inventory on newly admitted patient and places their belonging in the locked cupboard

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Current MT CNA certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the following authorized governing bodies:
• American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider),
• American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider), -or-
• Military Training Network (MTN) – (Healthcare Provider) upon hire
• Successful completion of an orientation program or equivalent experience
