Job Description

All Heart Veterinary Center of Farmersville is seeking a Veterinary Technician, experience preferred. Must be self-motivated, able to work in a team environment, learn quickly on the job, and reliable.

Some responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to managing patient reminders and treatments in our practice management software, restraining animals for examinations and treatments, drawing blood, pulling vaccinations, assisting with various laboratory procedures, monitoring inventory, practicing facility cleaning and disinfection protocols, obtaining patient histories, answering phone calls, scheduling visits, collecting payments, and interacting with clients, other facilities, and pharmacies.

EXPERIENCE

           Requirements:            Customer service experience (at least 1 year)

                                                Veterinary/ medical experience

                                                Computer Knowledge

                                                Must be able to lift 50lbs

                                                Kneeling, squatting, and standing for long periods of time

            Preferred:                    Veterinary Technician/ Assistant (at least 1 year)

                                                Cornerstone Software familiarity

            Education:                   High school diploma or equivalent

                                                VCA or Vet Tech certification is preferred

OFFICE HOURS                    M, T, TH, F - 8:00am - 6:00pm

                                                Saturday - 9:00am - 1:00pm

SALARY                                 TBD based on experience
