About our practice:

Since 2000 we have been busy providing quality care for small animals in the surrounding lakes area. Pequot Lakes Animal Hospital is an integrative veterinary hospital with services tanging from preventative medicine, surgery, and dentistry, to acupuncture, herbs, laser therapy and ozone therapy. Our veterinarians being a wide range of expertise in providing our clients and their pets with the best medical treatment and deliver it with care and compassion.

Your mission:

To help our company achieve our purpose of helping and healing as many pets as possible. You will be responsible for assisting the veterinarians with diagnostics- running lab work, taking x-rays, monitoring anesthesia, and performing dentistry among other things. You will be involved in client education, to help keep their pets healthy.

Specific responsibilities and duties:

Capable of handling dogs and cats

Good communications skills, as you will be checking clients in, educating clients and using the phone

We need knowledge of anesthetic monitoring, running labs (urine, blood, stool), taking x-rays and other diagnostic duties

Proficiency in placing catheters, drawing blood and giving injections

Other duties required

Required qualifications/experience:

Must have a Veterinary Technician degree or equivalent experience

Attention to detail

A passion to help animals and their owners

Offered Salary and other compensations:
