Job Description
The Video Editor is a collaborative, strategic, and expert storyteller. With experience developing video creative of all types, you can tell a story in 6 seconds, 60 seconds, and beyond. You’ll concept and execute new video ideas, from music videos to social ads.
You are well-versed in the digital and video space and thrive on discovering new and emerging technologies and techniques to help our clients shine.
Responsibilities
- Craft and edit various types of quick-turnaround compelling video content, mix and master audio and color correction and grading
- Multi-task and juggle multiple edits simultaneously
- Collaborate with Producers, Designers, Copywriters, and Creative Directors
- Maintain client brand and creative standard documents and in every video
- Discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices
- Quality check all video content against provided specifications and briefs following internal QA process
- Keep Producers and Project Managers informed of progress
- 4-6 years of editing and animation experience
- A professional portfolio chock full o’ relevant work that will delight us
- Advanced understanding of the full Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro & After Effects
- Extreme attention to detail
- Full understanding of social media and broadcast output specifications
