Job Description

The Video Editor is a collaborative, strategic, and expert storyteller. With experience developing video creative of all types, you can tell a story in 6 seconds, 60 seconds, and beyond. You’ll concept and execute new video ideas, from music videos to social ads.

You are well-versed in the digital and video space and thrive on discovering new and emerging technologies and techniques to help our clients shine.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and edit various types of quick-turnaround compelling video content, mix and master audio and color correction and grading
  • Multi-task and juggle multiple edits simultaneously
  • Collaborate with Producers, Designers, Copywriters, and Creative Directors
  • Maintain client brand and creative standard documents and in every video
  • Discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices
  • Quality check all video content against provided specifications and briefs following internal QA process
  • Keep Producers and Project Managers informed of progress

Requirements
  • 4-6 years of editing and animation experience
  • A professional portfolio chock full o’ relevant work that will delight us
  • Advanced understanding of the full Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro & After Effects
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Full understanding of social media and broadcast output specifications
