Warehouse Associate - Swing Shift

FULL-TIME

$17.20/hr

Milgard is seeking Warehouse Associates to join our team in Temecula, CA. As a Warehouse Associate you will have the opportunity to play an integral role in a variety of Shipper and Warehousing job tasks for the leading window manufacturer in the Western United States.

This is a Swing Shift opportunity that runs from 4pm - 12:45am or 5pm -1:45am (mandatory overtime may be required.) If you are looking for career in a fast paced, environment, then this could be the perfect role for you!

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for a multitude of functions within the department. Some key functions include:

- Ensure the following commitments are met and improved upon: On-Time Delivery, Damages,
and Units per Employee Hour, Safety, and Housekeeping.
- Adheres to all facets of safety policies and procedures.
- Reflects Milgard's Quality Pillars: Safety, Integrity, Continuous Improvement, Creativity and
Partnership.

Working in the warehouse does require prolonged standing, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling - as well as hand dexterity and strength. May be required to frequently lift up to 75 pounds. Work is performed in a warehouse facility with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar environment handling various sizes of finished goods
- Glass handling and/or glass knowledge a plus but not required
- Read and understand window labels and route codes
- Good hand dexterity with the ability to use handheld scanning unit
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to lift 75 pounds unassisted

Shift length: 8 - 12 hours
Monday - Friday (Mandatory overtime to include Saturdays' may be required)
