Weekend Licensed Practical Nurse/LPN  

Sign-on Bonus $2,500.00

Alpine Healthcare is hiring for a full-time weekend Licensed Practical Nurse/LPN. We are looking for a candidate that can collaborate with a team, communicate effectively and reliably, is friendly, compassionate, and caring, self-motivated, and driven. 

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, this position is responsible for overseeing the overall day to day direct care of residents on all units and shifts throughout the weekend. Primary job duties would include but are not limited to conducting rounds of all units, assessing residents, administering medications and treatments as needed, contacting providers and families, communicating with pharmacy, assisting in new staff orientation. This position communicates with the Director of Nursing and/or Administrator on the weekend, as needed. The Weekend Licensed Practical Nurse/LPN  will receive handoff from Unit Managers going into the weekend and reports back to Unit Managers regarding weekend events on Mondays.

This position is also responsible for monitoring staffing, staffing assignments, answering staff callouts/arranging for staff coverage and/or filling in for callouts, as needed on the weekend.

This is a full-time position which starts call at 5pm on Friday evenings and ends at 8am on Monday mornings. Normal working hours are 7am-7pm on Saturday and Sundays and a combination of 8 hours Friday and Monday but may require flexing hours on the weekend to cover a shift. This position would receive every 13^th weekend off.  Must be available weekends and holidays (as applicable), have reliable transportation and a valid NH Licensed Practical Nurse/LPN license. Previous supervisory/management experience preferred, but not required. 

Licensed Practial Nurse (LPN) can start as early as NEXT WEEK!
