Who are we?

Back to Basics Learning Dynamics (B2B) is a premier education services provider located in Wilmington DE. We help parents, schools and government agencies meet the academic needs of their students and staff. We have been serving learners for over 35 years and have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and a 5 Star Google rating. We are honored to launch the B2B Summer Initiative and provide tutoring for over 2500 students. We need your help to close the learning gap with many of these students so they can start the school year with confidence and a stronger skill base.

What we are looking for:

Passionate teachers available to tutor online this school year or tutors who have relevant experience and want to make a difference.

Scope of work

• Tutor online, after school hours
• 1:1 tutoring with the same child each week for 2 hours (1 hour twice a week).
• You set your own schedule for after school and weekend hours. Consistency is key so we ask that the schedule stay the same each week if possible.
• Work with students in mostly grades K – 8 for Math & Reading but some high school students will be participating in the program. For high school students, their instruction may be subject-specific (e.g. Algebra I).

• Technical awareness: The ability to use zoom, google meets, or other online platforms.

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Teaching Certificate or 1+ year of teaching in a classroom or Tutoring 1:1
• Minimum of 6 hours a week, up to 25 hours available
• Computer or tablet
• Access to WIFI
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work with students to help them understand the subject material.
