Job Description

Pine Knoll Nursing and Rehab is currently seeking a full-time wound care RN/LPN. As part of the Wound Care Team, the wound care nurse participates in assessing and evaluating the clinical needs of resident with wounds, and works with the resident and the rest of the care team in planning and implementing care that addresses the needs. This work is carried out in support of the mission of Roswell Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Requirements:

• Must have an active GA LPN or RN License
• Must have atleast one year experience in a Skilled Long Term Care Facility
  
  Responsibilities:
  - Conduct comprehensive wound consultations including; detailed wound assessments and recommendations for interventions and care planning.
  - Conduct wound assessments for resident and complete all associated documentation, tracking and care planning activities.
  - Ongoing monitoring of all assigned resident with wounds.
  - Assess resident/caregivers knowledge of wound prevention and treatment. Provide resident/ caregiver with wound prevention / treatment education as needed.
