Job Description

Fulton Care Center is currently seeking a Wound Care RN.  

RN Duties Include:

• Assists in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the resident, in accordance with established medical practices and the requirements of this state and the policies and goals of this facility.
• The wound care registered nurse provides primary care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of the residents’ attending physicians and the Director of Nursing Services with an emphasis on treatment and therapy of skin disorders.
• Utilize knowledge of current trends and practice standards of nursing to ensure that resident’s skin integrity is maintained or restored.
• Identify, manage, and treat specific skin disorders and primary and secondary lesions.

RN Qaulification Include:

• Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years of experience as an RN with a current New York State License.
• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Previous experience in a long term care setting.
