Job Description

Penmac Staffing is seeking an Automatic Weld and Assembly Operator and an Automatic Weld & Assembly Finish Operator. This is a temp to hire position.

Candidate must be able to work independently, the position requires quick attention to detail, and be able to keep up with a fast pace environment

Physical Requirements

· Comfortably lift and transport 75lbs

· Stand for 12 hrs. at time

· Work in a non-climate-controlled environment at high temperatures

Duties include:

· Hang and remove parts from the paint line.

· Visually check welds for defects in parts. Clean all parts where needed.

· Spread check the size with gauges provided.

· Properly hang parts on a paint line.

· Take parts off the paint line and sort them using numbers in ISO books.

· Insert bushings into bushing machines and parts.

· Ability to stack parts either by crates full or by orders provided by supervisor or leader.

· Tack and weld component parts together for trailer suspensions with electric arc welding equipment. Able to check jig for loose bolts, air leaks, etc. Check job card parts list with parts being supplied by forklift.

· Tack and weld component part together as instructed.

· Work with Quality Assurance to make sure that the part running is within tolerance and take action accordingly.

· Operate all automatics within the department (hub welders, robots, washer welders, bearing

· block welder, etc.) Other duties may be assigned.

Available Shifts and Pay: work 36 hours and get paid for 40
