Job Description

Responsibilities

This position will lead and coordinate the Pharmacy organization’s overall efforts and plans related to strategy development and day to day operations of all pharmacy departments. Coordinates and directs the activities and operations for the Pharmacy departments.

Qualifications

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

Minimum:

Master’s Degree in Business, Pharmacy, or other clinical field.
Desirable:
PharmD, MBA or Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration
Specialized Knowledge:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed. Must be able to positively interact with others, within the department and other departments.

Kind and Length of Experience:

Minimum: 3-5 years of management/leadership in pharmacy operations

Desirable: 6-8 years of hospital leadership
