support of Jazz’s Hematology/Oncology portfolio and collaborate on the HEOR strategy. The AD will collaborate with the Big Data Real World Evidence (BD-RWE) center of excellence on the design and implementation of studies that are aligned with the data generation strategy for the brand(s). The AD will report to the Director of HEOR for Hematology/Oncology.
Job Function
- Contributed to and collaborate on the HEOR strategy for the Jazz HemOnc products.
- Work closely with US and EU Rest of World (EU ROW) Jazz teams to develop strategies specific to their respective payers and other stakeholders.
- Work with KOLs to implement HEOR analyses, as needed.
- Identify product evidence needs and collaborate with the BD-RWE, advising on design andimplementation of outcomes research projects.
- Conduct literature searches and systematic literature reviews.
- Advise BD-RWE on analysis plans (e.g., for claims, EMR database analyses, SCAs).
- Conduct economic analyses and/or conduct detailed reviews of existing analyses.
- Lead development and revision of Global Value and AMCP dossiers.
- Manage relationships with vendors to ensure timely completion of high quality projects.
- Communicate study plans, study methods, and results to internal teams.
- Present health outcomes research findings at scientific congresses and participate in the development and writing of manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and regulatory guidelines governing commercial and scientific interactions with healthcare professionals, payers, advocacy and other business partners.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and ensure continuous and consistent communication with key internal partners on HEOR and BD-RWE projects.
- Represent HEOR on cross-functional internal teams.
- Remain current on HEOR data sources and analytic methods.
Essential Qualifications
- Advanced degree related to medical, health economics, health outcomes research, or epidemiology (MS, MBA, MPH, MD/DO, PhD, PharmD) is required.
- Experience in hematology/oncology is required.
- At least 3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry at a biopharmaceutical company (HEOR, Epidemiology, Medical Affairs, or related function), and at least 5 years’ experience overall in the life sciences (combined biopharma, consulting, internship, etc)
- Experience identifying evidence gaps and contributing to HEOR strategy development is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, including knowledge of and familiarity leading projects in disease modeling, health economic modeling, PROs database analyses, etc.
- Experience in managing multiple projects across a variety of health outcomes methodologies.
- Proficiency with Excel and Powerpoint.
- Ability to travel approximately 20% time.
