With a focus on the North American car scene, HotCars is looking for a full-time Automotive Journalist to join its expanding team.

The ideal journalist will be tasked with producing high quality, authoritative, and original content sourced from: his or her interviews with respectable people in the industry; test drives; and auto shows and conventions.

This person will be working alongside HotCars' deputy and managing editors in an effort to grow the brand's authority in the automotive media landscape.

Expectations:

• Experience in the automotive media world;
• A minimum output of 5 articles/week;
• Regular access to press fleets;
• Has insider access to the automotive industry;
• Takes pride and ownership in their work;
• Familiarity with Photoshop is an asset, but not required.

Requirements:

• CV;

• 2-3 samples of published written work;
• Affinity with the automotive world is a must.
