We are looking for a Bookkeeping Clerk to join our team and bolster it for continued success; Recording, organizing, and managing the daily financial data and transactions of our company. While we work across the globe and have offices in San Antonio, Denver, Austin, and Dubai... this position would office at our Houston location.

We provide analysis, evaluation, plans, and design for projects that involve renovation, expansion and new construction in multiple market sectors including higher education, laboratories, healthcare, commercial, multi-family and industrial.  Our services include mechanical/HVAC, plumbing, electrical/lighting, structural, fire protection/ life safety, data/IT/low voltage, construction administration and commissioning. Our projects are often focused on sustainability and energy efficiency including LEED® and other green building certifications. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Work with Project Managers and office directors for monthly billing
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Prepare statements including: Income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and statement of retained earnings.
• Post debits and credits (Ajera)
• Collect and remit sales tax to the government
• Monitor debt levels and apply payment to any debt as it comes up for payment
• Record incoming cash and deposit at the bank
• Handle bank reconciliations every month
• Equip our CPA with accurate financial statements at tax time
• Report on issues and variances when they pop up
• Process payroll (ADP)

Qualifications

• 3 years experience using Ajera, a Deltek project management software.
• Experience processing payroll through ADP
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, mastery in Excel
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping
