Duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows:

Being a member of the Business Intelligence team
Participating in a modernization of the business intelligence stack
Optimizing the data pipeline
Creating stored SQL procedures and system specifications
Working with ETL
Improving data movement processes and data structures
Working primarily in the Azure data factory and Power BI for dashboarding and presentation
Instill best practices
Leading less experienced coworkers
Creating software solutions
Leaving your mark on the the transition to modern business tools
Contributing to the success of the company in a significant way

Candidates should have a minimum background consisting of the following:

A four year Information Technology or Computer Science degree
Four or more years of SQL Server experience
Proficient in best practices and coding methods
Possess the ability to instill best practices
Possess the ability to get the others up to speed
Possess an understanding of principles of data modeling
Skilled in visualization tools
Skilled in data discovery
A solid work history
A US citizen or possess a green card
A residence within 45 minutes
