WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Business Process Analyst II will be responsible for identifying improvement opportunities, gathering business requirements, assessing, and prioritizing tasks on various systems based on overall and systematic risks and impacts to achieve effectiveness, efficiency, growth, innovations, and environmental constraints.

  • Document, orchestrate, identify opportunities of improvement, and finding the right solution to streamline different processes and to enable business initiatives by becoming technology agnostic.
  • Understand the big picture, set the right scope, and collaborate with different functional business experts, data architect, programmers, system administrators, integration specialists, project managers, validation specialists to fix root causes while maintaining business continuity.
  • Perform user interviews, translate, and document business needs into technical requirements.
  • Prioritize requests based on business impacts to deliver the best customer service and business values within budget/time constraints.
  • Plan and manage projects associated with various initiatives, tracking/reporting progress to completion
  • Act as a liaison and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the needs of internal operations during the various growing stages of the business; prepare roadmaps to assist in understanding of projects.
  • Manage multiple applications simultaneously in different lifecycles of maturity that support the business and stabilize operations. Ensure successful execution plans to change by analyzing risks, prioritizing costs/benefits, and meeting compliance requirements.


WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related science or discipline is required. Master degree in Information Technology is a plus.
  • A minimum of three years working with systems supporting business operations and process optimization.
  • Prior experience working with SQL, different reporting/BI tools, SharePoint, DevOps/Jira/Confluence and other enterprise systems are required.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com, JD Edwards (ERP), ARAS (PLM), CMS are big pluses.
  • Experience documenting, redesigning, and implementing process and system changes is required.
  • Experience administrating, managing changes, and troubleshooting custom and COTS applications is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, document, and assist with developing, integrating, testing, and validating systems, in a GMP, ISO or other regulated production environment for pharmaceuticals, biotech or medical devices manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the manufacture of FDA regulated devices and experience in the health care field is highly desired.
  • Experience using RPA technologies to automate business processes is a plus
  • Business analytical and/or project management skills, Six Sigma, SAFe, and/or other related certifications preferred.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking to constant challenge the status quo for innovation
  • Attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to excellence and performance improvement and the drive to deliver quality and value-added results and outcomes.
  • Local to the Bethesda, MD area or willing to relocate with some company assistance. For the first few months, during onboarding and to connect with the business, it would require the analyst to come in approx 3 times a week. As the analyst becomes more familiar with the business and seeing how things work, it will become more flexible, requiring visits for in-person meetings as needed.
