Role Summary/Purpose:

As a member of the Performance Marketing team, the Campaign Delivery Manger is responsible for ensuring that campaign data deliverables are met within the execution process across our clients. As part of a broader team, this individual is charged with establishing/maintaining relationships within Performance Marketing, our functional partners (Client Marketing, Analytics, Risk, IT, Legal/Compliance), all 5 Growth business units and our third-party relationships. This role will be strategically aligned to the US based marketing team members and partner closely with our offshore campaign operations teams. This role will be responsible for general campaign execution process improvements/change management and assist on critical strategic initiatives across all clients with the Performance Marketing team. This role will also be asked to execute and audit critical or complex campaigns within the campaign operations (COPS) team as needed. This role reports to the Campaign Operations Leader and is an integral part of the cross functional team strategy/success.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Ensure that critical campaign data files are delivered to support marketing efforts across our clients
  • Serve as campaign operations implementation manager for new processes, metric/capacity reporting, procedural documentation, etc
  • Assist in weekly meetings on capacity planning, prioritization and work-load balance within the assigned offshore teams
  • Assist in monitoring execution processes and automated jobs within the data team
  • Serve as a data SME and problem-solver in evaluating campaign trends and recommending action plans to minimize errors, drive growth and increase speed-to-market.
  • Clear communicator on business processes and ensuring campaign deliverables are met
  • Build and foster relationships with Client Marketing, Performance Marketing and across SYF (Compliance, Risk, Analytics, others) ensuring expectations are met. Serve as data SME on critical campaign requests

Qualifications/Requirements   

  • Bachelor Degree or, in lieu of degree, a high school diploma/GED and 6+ years of campaign management experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience, to include (can be concurrent):
    • 3 years experience with industry-leading campaign management tools/languages/cloud platforms (ex. SAS, Salesforce, Adobe, SQL, Tableau, Unica, Zeta and BlueConic)
    • 3 years experience in database marketing campaign development (marketing segmentation strategies, targeting, universe development) across all channels
    • 3 years experience working on complex financial services marketing campaign strategies (Reissues, Prescreens, Upgrades, Rewards Fulfillment)

Desired Characteristics:

  • Deep understanding and subject matter expertise with campaign management trends, tools and technologies
  • Experience generating reports, dashboards with business insights/trends
  • Expertise in executing and auditing data mining code (SAS, SQL, Python, etc)
  • Experience working with onshore/offshore data execution teams and able to work with internal/external partners
  • Able to effectively lead processes through change management principles and educate team members
  • Familiar with agile methodology and concepts
  • Experience in process and operational improvement with the ability to recognize process opportunities and develop/implement process-improvement strategies
  • Understanding of how RPA and BOTS are operational within execution processes
  • Experienced cross-functional leadership, communication and relationship-building skills with proven ability to obtain buy-in on concepts/strategies from internal, external and management constituents
  • Excellent facilitation and collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across a complex, highly dynamic and fluid organization
  • Ability to inspire and effectively communicate across multiple locations and regions,
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems, develop new tactics and address implementation obstacles.
  • Highly motivated, adaptive and assertive self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and as a strong team participant

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
