Our Client is seeking a Collections and Bookkeeping Assistant in Feasterville, PA.


Earn an hourly rate at this full-time, temp-to-hire position. Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.


Job Description:


  • Maintain accurate records and data entry in QuickBooks
  • Enter vendor information and invoices accurately
  • Maintain vendors, resources and subcontractors
  • Maintain subcontractors’ paperwork to solidify they are eligible in meeting company licensing and insurance standards
  • Complete accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
  • Submit completed estimates and invoices to customers, insurance adjusters or responsible billing parties
  • Complete follow up calls to ensure receipt and inquire about payment
  • Update software systems with accurate outcomes of collection's efforts
  • Set a schedule for future follow up calls and collections steps as needed
  • Maintain petty cash
  • Ability to prepare deposit slips for multiple bank accounts upon receiving payment
  • Assist with documenting Royalties and State Tax Reports and Payments
  • Assist with office staff as the need arises for incoming phone calls, adjuster and customer communications, etc
  • Ability to receive, gather information and execute new, incoming job leads via phone, email, text, inner office communication, etc., thus resulting in dispatching out to field crew(s) accordingly



Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred or strong professional background of 2-3 years bookkeeping experience
  • 3+ year(s) of experience with QuickBooks Pro® (most recent versions) and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proper phone etiquette, courteous and professional tone of voice
  • Good listening and questioning skills
  • Ability to multi-task with strong organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Very self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment
  • Ability to learn new software, including Xactimate®, RestorePM and proprietary software
  • Ability to file checks, documents and supporting job paperwork accordingly and in a timely manner
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
