We are currently seeking a Data Engineer - SFDC to join our team in Brighton, Massachusetts (US-MA), United States (US).

Job Description:
Role Responsibilities:
- Participate in requirements analysis with business users and building requirement specification for BI & Hadoop applications.
- Work closely with Business Users by attending meetings and discussions to understand business needs, requirements and clarification on new projects, Planning, prioritizing and finalizing effort estimates
- Address Production and Customer issues with existing web screens.
- Represent the technical team to help the business team with technical feasibility of requirements.
- Do the Impact analysis and provide feasible solutions
- Communicate and interact with Business Analysts (Client) for clarifications and work closely with Quality Analysts.
- Produce Technical Design and functional design documents and other artefacts in discussion with business.
- Work with architects & managers for improving the performance of new system and upgrades.
- Providing technical assistance to the Business Product Development Team in the launch of new Insurance Products for Global Atlantic Financial Group
- Analyzing and gathering business requirements to ensure that underlying application technology meets both short-term and long-term business needs and that system design can adapt to the demands of emerging business and technology
Basic Qualifications:
-8+ years developing code in Hadoop 2.x, Hive, HDFS, Scala, Spark, Informatica, BO, Tableau, Sqoop, Oozie, Java, Maven, Eclipse, Putty, Horton Works, Oracle 11g, SQL Developer, SVN, GitLab, JIRA and Confluence.
Education:
-Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
