Job Description

Pharmacists Mutual has an opening for a Digital Marketing Specialist. The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for customer relationship management (CRM), developing and driving digital marketing campaigns and strategies that meet and/or exceed business objectives, and provide additional insight about our customers across all digital channels. The specialist will find meaningful patterns in different types of data and will use this data effectively in targeting current and potential members. The specialist will have excellent communication skills and be proficient using marketing, sales, and analytical software. As a digital marketer, the position will help design and execute digital marketing campaigns using various strategies and tools, including marketing automation and CRM systems. The position will work closely with the other members of the Marketing and Information Technology departments.

Digital Marketing Specialist

  • Entry level.
  • Executes tasks as assigned and requires guidance to increase technical skill and overall knowledge in all job duties and functions. 

Senior Digital Marketing Specialist

  • Executes tasks as assigned with minimal direction.
  • Must demonstrate a history of high quality work and is capable of being a lead-by-example contributor to the department and team.
  • This position includes the roles of a trainer, mentor, coach, Company representative and visionary project team member. 

Essential Functions

Essential functions may include, but are not limited to the following:    

  • With assistance, collaborate with the sales and marketing team to create marketing programs that drive profitable revenue and sales in support of business objectives.
  • Develop training materials, conduct initial and ongoing Field Representative training, and provide support on CRM.
  • Work with third party vendors to develop, load, and monitor all campaigns and usage.
  • Participate in user testing and upgrade process in CRM to ensure that business objectives are met.
  • Plan, manage and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Work on complex marketing projects of large scope.
  • Update and maintain the Company website content.
  • Communicate complex insurance topics to current and prospective members.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple digital programs.
  • Knowledge and skill with marketing automation and customer relation management (CRM) systems, such as SharpSpring, Marketo, Hubspot, and/or Oracle Sales Cloud.
  • Knowledge of WordPress.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Knowledge and skill with B2B and/or eCommerce.
  • Knowledge and ability to utilize Survey Monkey and/or Mailchimp.
  • Ability to work autonomously while also being part of an integrated team.
  • Accept work assignments and new challenges with an enthusiastic, "can do" attitude.
  • Ability to manage competing demands and multiple priorities, while maintaining a high level of organization and strong attention to detail.
  • Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of marketing concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects.

Experience and Education Qualifications

Digital Marketing Specialist

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years of related experience; or
  • Associate's Degree and 3 years of related experience; or
  • Bachelor's Degree 

Senior Digital Marketing Specialist

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years of related experience; or
  • Associate's Degree and 8 years of related experience; and
  • One of the following industry related certification: Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) Digital Marketing or Google Analytics Certification 

OR 

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of related experience; or
  • Master's Degree and 2 years related experience
