PRIMARY PURPOSE

Provides operational leadership and strategic direction for Radiology Services to ensure quality and efficiency of services to the patients of Parkland.

MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS Education:

- Bachelor's degree in a Healthcare related field.

- Master's degree in a Healthcare related field preferred.

Experience:

- Must have seven years of Radiology/Medical Imaging or comparable experience.

Equivalent Experience

- May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements.

Skills or Special Abilities:

- Must be capable of serving as a resource for staff.

- Must demonstrate advanced knowledge of assigned department operations including policies, personnel, and budget management.

- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in working with a diverse population of physicians, patients, technical staff, management, and administration.

- Must be capable of leadership and have effective organizational skills.

- Must demonstrate patient-centered/patient valued behaviors.
