Unit Description:
The Director of Wellness will support client well-being strategy while enhancing the overall brand experience in both café and market spaces. In this position, the Director of Wellness will also be responsible for successfully directing retail marketing activities through on-site coordination with managers, supervisors and front-line employees.
Key Responsibilities:
This is not a clinical dietitian position in a hospital or LTC facility. Currently, the position does not conduct 1:1 wellness consulting or clinical work.
The position will report to the Greer location, but may be a support resources for other portfolio locations across the US.
Qualifications
This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a Director of Wellness and Brand Experience to support our high profile account BMW in Greenville SC! This is an amazing opportunity for the Director of Wellness and Brand Experience to work in a corporate setting supporting multiple food outlets. Registered Dietitians are top notch when it comes to the promotion of health and well-being. The ability to leverage that skill-set to build and support a truly unique, guest experience will be key.
The Director of Wellness will support client well-being strategy while enhancing the overall brand experience in both café and market spaces. In this position, the Director of Wellness will also be responsible for successfully directing retail marketing activities through on-site coordination with managers, supervisors and front-line employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Have “experience in food service operations” supporting a client culture of well-being and be a core member of the on-site leadership team
- Possess strong knowledge of corporate well-being strategy, presentation and communication skills and ability to leverage social media to assist in promotion of brand strategy
- Provides direction for planning strategic goals, support brand standards and maintain effective communication with other managers and inter-department liaisons
- Work with our teams to identify wellness menu offer within Sodexo’s technology platform
- Participate in health fairs and develop presentations as needed to support client initiatives
- Ensure multiple retail outlets are staged to drive employee engagement and sales
- Be a team player!
- Have client relationship skills and the ability to quickly respond to client and management needs
- Have experience related to food allergies and menu planning
- Be willing to assist other Sodexo Corporate accounts in portfolio as needed
- Must be a Registered Dietitian and Licensed in South Carolina

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable required

Provides direction, development, and business strategy, and deployment of leading edge nutrition and wellness programs in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Is responsible for deployment of national Nutrition and Wellness Brand Standards within area of accountability.
Key Duties:
- Support Operating teams through bringing awareness of and monitoring of compliance with Regulatory Agency requirements related to Nutrition Services aspects of the Food Service Operations.
- Provides information, monitors, and educates operations teams of current Sodexo and industry Wellness program information and practices to support implementation and effective programs in the operations.
- Keeps abreast of current and new innovation industry actices.
- Works with operations teams related to financial management, account operations, people management, account development regarding the Sodexo Wellness program for patient/residents, retail operations, and integration into the client overall population wellness strategy.
- Supports the implementation of identified new unit openings as it relates to the sales process by assisting with operational and costing analyses and providing technical support in the development of service proposals.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree in dietetics, food management, or related field
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years of experience in clinical management in outpatient services
