WHO WE ARE: Riverchase Health & Rehabilitation Center - a 120 bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in Quincy, FL is currently seeking a DON.  We are a growing facility in need of an energetic and talented new clinical professional to come join our team!

As the Director of Nursing (DON) you will be responsible for the organizing, developing, and directing of all operations within the Skilled Nursing Facility.  To be most successful in the role of DON, you will be a team player with great conflict resolution skills, who is able to display unlimited patience and a positive demeanor with every single interaction.  Here @ Riverchase Health & Rehab, we believe in a strong TEAM approach that truly improved the lives of all our residents.

TEAMWORK ENVIRONMENT 

Director of Nursing (DON) Summary & Qualifications:

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates and directs the overall operations of the Nursing Services department
• Interprets and communicates policies and procedures to nursing staff, and monitors staff practices and implementation.
• Participates in all admission decisions.
• Participates in daily or weekly management team meetings to discuss census 
• Evaluates work performance of all nursing personnel 
• Ensures delivery of quality care and adequate staff coverage on all units
• Collaborates with members of the interdisciplinary team
• Participates in the recruitment, hiring and termination of nursing personnel.
• Active RN License Required (may take LPN)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an ADON or RN Supervisor in a hospital, SNF, LTC
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures pertaining to LTC
• CPR Certification Required
