We Are Hiring:

EAP Counselor

 

Ascension EAP Services - Wisconsin - must be willing to travel among Fox Valley and Milwaukee area (eastern Wisconsin) regularly.

 

*Must reside in Wisconsin and have Wisconsin licensure for consideration*

 

Full Time Days | 40 Hours Weekly | Hours are generally Monday-Friday 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm; No weekends or holidays

What You Will Do:

Provide assessment, referral, and follow-up services for associates and their families through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

  • Determine client's need for counseling or referral to appropriate external resources. Provide assessment and referral services and ensures timely delivery of contracted services.
  • Provide short-term counseling and follow-up care to client.
  • Provide coordination with external resources and follow-up care when client is referred. Provide case management services through coordination with external resources.
  • Provide orientation and training to all staff regarding the EAP counseling program. Provide consultations with management regarding managing troubled associates, critical incidents and workplace violence.
What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • One or more of the following required:
    • Counselor credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Social Worker credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
Additional Preferences:

EAP experience preferred, but we are willing to train a candidate who is motivated and willing to learn!
