Job Description

We are looking for an Executive Assistant (EA) to support the CEO and President of a fast-growing podcast media company. As the EA, you will provide high-level administrative support that will include managing schedules and scheduling, handling correspondence, and handling various administrative duties in a way that helps our executives do their best work. Doing this will require your best work.

Executive presence. You have what it takes to speak, interact, and represent the CEO and the company as well as they do, even when the CEO cannot be present.

Entrepreneurial. You can handle tight deadlines and you bring creativity, problem-solving, and are efficient with time and resources.

Professionalism. You have a history of successfully representing executives in a professional

Prioritization & Responsiveness. You can understand the organizational goals and priorities and can align and prioritize the executive's time. You know how to gracefully protect and manage the CEO's time and schedule.

Problem Solving. You're resourceful and can figure things out on your own and you know when and how to fill in the gaps and when to ask for clarification. You can anticipate needs and take care of things that need to be done without having to be instructed in every detail.

Analytical. You can think critically about situations, numbers, data, and information and can think several steps ahead.

Emotionally Intelligent. You're equipped with emotional intelligence and you can immediately assess and know the room.

You're trustworthy because the CEO will need to know she can trust you implicitly. You keep confidential information confidential.

Judgment. You know the CEO well enough to know what she would support or not support.

Attention to detail. You are accurate with anything, and everything associated with the organization and the CEO. This includes writing, proofing, editing, scheduling, taking notes, and anything that will be seen by or that impacts others.

You're driven by excellence and have strong business acumen. You know how business works and how things get done.

Writing skills. You demonstrate during the hiring process and through examples your superb writing skills and follow-up. In this role, you'll write, proof, edit, emails, documents, and presentations as needed.

Tech-savvy. You know how to manage email and you're an email and scheduling maven.

Tech skills. You can handle multiple means of communication: mobile phone, chat, text, Slack, Zoom, etc. MS Office 365 suite of apps and Google apps (Gmail, docs, sheets, etc.,)



Qualifying Experience and Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field required
  • At least five years of related experience required
  • Ability to type 60 wpm or better for taking notes
  • Ability to navigate technology quickly
