Responsibilities

The Field Marketing Manager develops local/regional/community level marketing plans to generate leads, drive visits and grow move-ins across communities and focus markets. This position is a primary marketing contact/support for district teams within assigned divisions. The Marketing Manager reports directly to the Senior Director, Field Marketing, and acts as a key liaison across various departments and with respective colleagues throughout the company including divisional, district, and marketing leadership. In identifying and developing marketing plans to improve community move in performance, the marketing manager partners closely with marketing associates, including media channel managers and account executives.

  1. Manage, guide, review and approve community-initiated marketing and lead generation projects, as well as assigned corporate marketing projects, through the department's sales enablement and workflow platforms. Marketing projects may include: collateral (flyers, brochures, etc.), ads, emails, direct mail (proprietary and purchased lists), signage, media guidance and more.
  2. Partner with districts to identify and group similar communities by marketing needs to scale programs and drive maximum move-ins. Develop written marketing briefs to ensure strategy and execution are aligned.
  3. Educate, teach, and train district sales teams on a variety of marketing support tools, including Big Tin Can and Workfront.
  4. Ensure local marketing plans are developed and executed upon, monitoring district marketing calendar/activities and providing guidance on local/district lead generation strategies.
  5. Work closely with the internal marketing team in the development and execution of results-driving quarterly marketing campaigns, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
  6. Oversee project timelines for special projects, including Program Max, high-opportunity communities and referral source programs, ensuring projects deliver on-time.
  7. Track and report on project/marketing performance, using sales and marketing reports from internal and external sources.
  8. Review collateral and related marketing material to ensure alignment with the local marketing strategy.
  9. Collaborates with the Director of B2B to ensure local efforts and field education are aligned with the quarterly campaigns.
  10. Maintain and communicate marketing best practices executed by communities, identifying common themes.
  11. Support the Senior Director, Field Marketing, in the development and execution of divisional marketing plans, ensuring best practices are shared across divisions.
