Job Summary

Reporting to the Plant Finance Manager, you will use Microsoft tools to bring SAP financial, SAP volume, LEDS operational efficiency, KRONOS payroll, and other master data sources together to create analysis, summary charts, and drill down capability designed to educate, inform, and drive actions taken - by personnel to drive down manufacturing per unit costs while supporting innovative branded food products.

 

Responsibilities

  • Leverage Microsoft Power BI to provide zero based analysis, performance metrics, trends, and drill down capabilities relevant to Operational team members to drive down per unit costs
  • Partner with our Continuous Improvement team to identify cost savings projects and develop ROI models
  • Develop working relations with plant and department managers to create annual budgets and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial metrics
  • Maintain production recipes and develop standard costs (BOMs & Routings)
  • Analyze yield, labor, and overhead variances
  • Participate in month end close by reconciling balance sheet accounts and FP&A reporting
  • Support assigned SOX controls and audits requirements

Qualifications

 

  • Manufacturing cost accounting knowledge with focus on analytical ability
  • Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
  • SAP or BPCS, Essbase, SharePoint
  • MS Office software including advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Analyze data and present financial results using tables, graphs, and drill down formats
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, including leveraging analytics, benchmarking, and insights to generate meaningful strategies and solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • MBA, CPA, or CMA a plus
  • 3+ years of professional general business and financial experience
