What is this job about?

In this position as Financial Journalist for the United States edition, your goal is to provide the investors and traders with the latest news and in-depth analysis of financial markets.

On a daily basis, you will write and publish breaking news about United States financial markets as well as global assets.

Your challenges

• Writing and publishing news covering the United States market edition, including small (300 words) and medium (700 words) content
• Manage all the topics in the financial markets including the key applications and indicators (key corporate events and earnings coverage)
• Collaborate and work closely with the existing US team to ensure the coverage of major market events in the US
• Collaborate with the company's Asian and European teams for global coverage and adjust based on different time zones

Who is this job made for?

• For professional Journalists in the United States, with a passion to write about the updates in the Finance or Stock markets

What do you need to apply?

• Language skills: bilingual(C2) in English
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Journalism background or writing breaking financial news
• Minimum 3 years of working experience covering United States financial (stock) markets
• Strong knowledge of the financial market in your home country
• Knowledge of financial global assets (commodities, U.S. equities, currencies, cryptocurrencies)
• Passion for the financial markets to guide the investors and traders about the risks and benefits of investments

Important: For this position, the company is offering a long-term freelance contract. You can be located anywhere in the world and can work remotely based on CET time zone working hours.
