The Healthcare Actuary will be joining a highly-functioning medical center that is home to numerous inpatient and outpatient medical specialties such as 24/7 emergency care, heart care, pregnancy and childbirth, and most commonly, orthopedic and bariatric surgery.

Responsibilities in the role of Healthcare Actuary include assessment of future financial risk for health insurance, analysis of data to help identify hospital business risks. Job duties involve preparing rate files, reviewing plan reserves, and analyzing medical trends for new potential risks and opportunities in order to reduce the risks associated with health care access, quality, delivery, and financing. A Healthcare Actuary that possesses 5+ years’ experience in actuarial work in healthcare and/or health insurance as well as their Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, business, finance or another related field will make for quick interviews!
