What You'll Do

  • Lead the inventory control function (raw material, components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods) across all Symbotic inventory warehouses and manufacturing sites.
  • Work with Finance and Operations to create regular inventory reconciliations and lead internal and external auditors to complete needed reviews.
  • The position will partner closely with finance, supply chain and operations to review and update processes and controls confirming company-wide quarterly and annual financial Inventories and reconciliations are accurate. Oversee the cycle counting and period end count processes with auditors as needed
  • Lead continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals across all sites.
  • Work on specific projects targeted at inventory optimization and & reduction
  • Develop, analyze, and monitor inventory to identify root causes and resolutions of inventory control issues, shrink, and other losses and control failures.
  • Create best practices for all inventory movement. Own the testing and rollout of all new processes and systems and monitoring controls after launch.
  • Plan/forecast future inventory levels and space/capacity requirements including special requirements. Aligning inventory targets and actions with procurement, quality and product. Define a global metrics package.
  • Responsible for ERP data integrity and serve as an SME on the ERP team.


What You'll Need:
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning, and Inventory. APICs certification preferred
  • Bachelor's degree. Preferred Supply Chain related discipline
  • This individual must possess a strong understanding of inventory systems and processes end to end, as they will be responsible for maintaining, improving and creating new inventory systems and reconciliations
  • Great communication and presentation skills
