TripleTree is adding Investment Banking Analysts to our Minneapolis and New York teams.

Our Investment Banking Analysts play a critical role in the entire transaction process, from the initial proposal to closing the deal. Successful Analysts are entrepreneurial, and innovative problem solvers who are naturally driven to succeed and often recognized for their analytical and strategic way of thinking. Our small deal teams allow Analysts to leverage a broad range of responsibilities and work closely with seasoned industry experts.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform industry, market and competitor research and due diligence
  • Identify and researching potential buyers or investors for each engagement
  • Prepare valuation models, monitor activities of potential buyers
  • Complete detailed due diligence on new clients, including meeting with client management to gain a thorough understanding of the business
  • Support the preparation of high-quality engagement materials describing the client’s business, future growth prospects, and possible synergies with potential buyers
  • Prepare detailed financial analyses to effectively model the client’s business and future growth opportunities
  • Track recent M&A activity in the industry and staying current on relevant regulatory developments
  • Follow the financial performance of public companies within the sector

Required Qualifications:
  • A passion for Investment Banking and the transformative Healthcare field
  • Bachelor’s degree, in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar with strong academic credentials
  • One (1) to three (3) years of relevant, post graduate experience in investment banking, corporate finance, tax accountancy, audit, assurance, or private equity investing
  • Experience in data collection, cleaning, forecasting and visualization
  • Excellent quantitative and fundamental modeling skills; deep understanding of accounting, financial statement analysis and business valuation
  • Advanced skills used Excel and PowerPoint
  • Desire to work in a collaborative, team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in an organized and efficient manner

Desired Qualifications:
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills
  • Series 79 and 63 licenses or ability to obtain
  • Previous work experience or internships in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, transaction advisory services / transaction diligence services, or business valuation
  • A deep understanding of the healthcare industry
