We are looking to add a Loan Officer to our Charleston office. We have been ranked "Charleston's Best Mortgage Company" for the past 4 years!

If you are a Loan Officer with at least 2 years of experience, please read on!

What You Will Be Doing

This role is responsible for originating quality mortgage loans that meet all company guidelines by building relationships with realtors, builders, financial professionals, past customers and other business networking sources.

• Develop and maintain a high degree of visibility in the marketplace
• Demonstrates effective face to face communications, telephone interaction, and written communications. Responds in a clear, concise manner, using appropriate mode of communication
• Deliver presentations to promote company products to realtors, builders, and financial professionals to generate quality mortgage leads
• Represents the company in community activities in a positive, professional image in order to promote the development of mortgage department
• Monitors and updates loan information requested by mortgage processors to keep files accurate and current
• Coordinates loan registration and documentation to ensure proper and timely processing; works with mortgage software system as necessary
  

What You Need for this Position

Active NMLS license for South Carolina

At least 2 years of loan officer experience with residential mortgage

Existing relationships with builders, relators etc.

Knowledge and understanding of debt-to-income ratios and reviewing credit reports

Prior sales experience a plus
