Registered Nurse RN Patient Safety Coordinator
Are you a Registered Nurse (RN) who is knowledgeable about Patient Safety and motivated to protect patients from harm by developing strategies for process improvement and staff education? to join the Quality team at John Randolph Medical Center as a Patient Safety Coordinator.

Responsibilities include:
- Managing and analyzing close calls and adverse patient events
- Conducting educational programs
- Leading clinical initiatives
- Complying with regulatory standards
- Actively participate in RCA (Root Cause Analysis), FMEA (Failure Mode and Event Analysis), serious adverse events and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required)
- BSN (required), MSN (preferred)
- Registered Nurse – Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation required.
- Certified Professional in Patient Safety CPPS (preferred)
- Four (4) years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting (required)
- Knowledge of CMS, TJC, ISMP, NPSF, Leapfrog, IHI and other patient care related initiatives to improve outcomes
- Experience with regulatory compliance as it relates to patient safety
- Skilled in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written, with all disciplines, staff levels and patients/families
