Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Nurse for a position with an acute care hospital in Illinois.
This is a full time position and reports to the Chief Nursing Officer. The Education Manager will provide leadership in the implementation, integration, and ongoing evolution of clinical education at the hospital.
Job Qualifications/Job Duties
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.
- Possess 3-5 years of nurse management experience within a hospital. Possess 5-7 years of experience in clinical nursing.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois. BLS, ACLS, and PALS Instructor status required or CPR, ACLS, & PALS certification required and Instructor status required within 3 months of hire.
- serves as a liaison between clinicians, ancillary departments, and Clinical Informatics to align clinical education standards with department standards, workflow, processes, and policies.
- Plan, develop, present and evaluate clinical education programs.
- Assist with quality and safety initiatives within the Nursing organization.
- Identify clinical education needs.
