Summary of Responsibilities: Provides quality care nursing services to patients of Diagnostic Imaging adhering to the established Nursing standards of this hospital. Works under the Medical direction of the Radiologists while assisting with their procedures. Performs other duties as requested by department. Professional Nursing care for all assisting procedures is expected. Evaluates monitors and administers medication as needed and/or ordered by the physician or as is standard of care. Directs and guides patient teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Assists with the transport to nursing floor after procedure to give appropriate post care instructions. Is cross-trained to nursing duties of the Special Procedures, Cardiac Catheterization exams and MRI patient care. Is responsible for all other duties as assigned.

Education/Certificates/Licenses:
- Graduate of an accredited and approved school of Nursing
- BSN desired
- Licensed as Professional Nursing in the State of California
- BCLS Certification
- 3 to 5 years’ experience preferred
- CCRN preferred
- ACLS certified
- Advanced level Certified Radiology Nurse
- CRN eligible
