A skilled nursing facility in West Babylon (Long Island) is currently seeking an exceptional licensed nurse for the Nurse Manager position.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse Manager

• Valid RN license

• BLS

• Responsible and compassionate

• Patient with excellent problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication abilities and critical thinking is a must

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse Manager

• Ensures that patient care is provided according to policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services.

• Responsible for staffing a sufficient number of qualified and competent persons to provide care, assuring the qualifications and competence of those staff members meet the needs of patient care services.

• Oversees orientation, in-service training, and continuing education of all persons in their department.

• Provide input regarding space/equipment recommendations, budgetary needs, and other resources needed.

• Maintain a healthy, collaborative team environment.

• Mentor the Associate Nurse Manager, charge nurses and clinical nurses.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50.00 to $70.00 /hour
