Are you a Registered Nurse looking for a direct hire job? If so, we are assisting our client who is seeking a full-time, registered nurse to work in Med Surg, three 12s at night with weekend requirements and no on-call. EPIC EMR, Pyxis, IV pumps, glucometers, vital sign machines, etc. The Nurse to patient ratio is 6:1 in the 34-bed unit.

Compensation and Benefits
Pay $31 - $44 per hour based on experience
401K, Health Insurance

Responsibilities of the Med Surg Nurse:
Uses professional nursing skills through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and supervision of individual patient care for the adult patient ages 18-100+ according to departmental policies and procedures.
Accepts responsibility for collaboration of co-workers in the implementation of patient care.
Organizes and provides direct patient care incorporating clinical decision-making and prioritization of activities.
Education of the patient and family/significant other and other health care team members is provided by the Registered Nurse.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse:
2 years of MS experience
EPIC Charting experienced preferred
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have strong critical thinking and process management skills.
Michigan State registered nurse license required
AHA BLS
