Job Description

As the Risk Management Analyst you will develop, maintain, and implement risk management strategies that drive solutions and support the planning, governance and execution of Enterprise Risk Management, Insurance Management, and Business Continuity Management programs across all business units.

Location: Merchants Fleet Headquarters in Hooksett, NH

What Your Day Will Look Like:

• Mitigate any risk associated with insurance, assist with insurance policy renewals, compare coverages and proposals, submit recommendations to leadership, and ensure no lapses in coverage
• Work directly with insurance brokers to convey organizational insurance needs, field documentation and information inquiries
• Review insurance policy documentation and quickly deduce and identify items such as deductibles/retentions, premiums, definitions, exclusions, and conditions
• Engage, when necessary, with insurance underwriters or risk engineers to answer questions and know when to involve other key stakeholders for input
• Draft analyses of insurance proposals to determine key changes and differences between timeframes such as year over year
• Assist in the development of key internal and external reporting metrics for the Business Continuity Management Program
• Work closely with the Information Security Team and IT Operations team members to determine gaps and establish strategies for risk mitigation

The Skills and Experience You Bring:

• 3+ years in a risk management analyst role (insurance, banking, audit, enterprise risk management, compliance, or audit experience)
• Deep knowledge of business insurance as well as common insurance documents
• Experience with writing insurance policy summaries and other insurance-based documentation, as well as analyzing insurance requirements for bids and RFPs
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint (aggregating and analyzing data, creating reports and presentations)
• Communication and presentation skills, including public speaking
• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Insurance certifications and Knowledge of ISO and COSO frameworks preferred
