Job Description

One of Insight Global's premier clients is looking for a Sr. SQL/BI Developer. This person will be joining the BI team consisting of developers, a scrum master and BI manager. 80% of this person's day will be developing in SQL Server, Power BI, SSIS, and SSAS. 20% of their day will consist of working with business users, taking in requirements, participating in daily scrum meetings and weekly team meetings. This team develops internal and cloud based applications for business users so they must be able to work with business users to seek to understand the problem, create solutions, and gather requirements. They will also be responsible for analyzing the code to find any issues and resolve them. The ideal candidate is a true senior level developer.

Experience with Azure Synapse



Working in large enterprise environments
8+ years of experience developing on premis and cloud based applications in SQL server



8+ years of experience analyzing data with SSAS and SSIS



2-3 years of experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards



Strong analytical skills
