Job Description

The Superintendent will supervise a small to medium-sized crew assigned to individual projects and will report directly to the Senior Superintendent, Project Manager, or Field Training Supervisor.

Roles:

  • Leading and supervising crews with their assigned tasks
  • Planning and scheduling following the project plans and production goals
  • Ensuring that the work done meets standards and all project policies and procedures are followed
  • Advocating and ensuring safe work culture
  • Preparing and reviewing work reports as required by the company

Responsibilities:

  • Safekeeping and ensuring all company-owned equipment are used accordingly
  • Representing the Company in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner
  • Participating in training programs and attending conferences or seminars as needed
  • Reporting and carrying out instructions by a Senior Superintendent, the Field Training Supervisor, a Project Manager, or other members of management

Requirements:

  • High school or GED graduate
  • Has at least 7 years in construction with at least 2 years in a leadership position – residential construction experience is a plus
