This position is to be based in the Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas area.

Job Profile

As a Wellness Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring quality resident care is consistently delivered
• Supporting the development, implementation and evaluation of clinical goals and objectives
• Supporting the team by developing clear role expectations for all clinical leaders
• Serving as a resource on clinical issues, current trends in healthcare, and state, federal regulations
• Identifying staff education opportunities and partnering with team members to develop and deliver training
• Providing support to communities as interim Wellness Director as needed
• Integrating wellness programs and train wellness team for new communities
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• LVN or RN required
• Ability to travel 80-100% throughout the state of Texas
• Experience in senior care work setting required
• Must have basic computer experience
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary
• Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with, or without reasonable accommodation
