Manager, Digital Strategy

Founded in 1970 in a small space across the street from the University of Pennsylvania, Urban Outfitters now operates over 200 stores in the United States, Canada and Europe, offering experiential retail environments and a well-curated mix of women’s, men’s, accessories and home product assortments.


Urban Outfitters seeks an experienced digital strategy professional that will manage multiple key e-commerce, digital growth and customer experience initiatives. They will be a core member of the UO Digital Group, which includes Analytics, Consumer Insights, Marketing and UX. The UO Digital group is responsible for managing the brand’s eCommerce businesses and fueling rapid digital growth.

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, analytical, and customer-centric thinker with strong digital strategy experience. This position reports to the Director, Digital & Loyalty Strategy.


Responsibilities

  • Bring analytical expertise to understanding performance of e-commerce, customer behavior trends and digital marketing initiatives to inform strategic recommendations that drive day-to-day results
  • Define and manage holistic customer journey across digital channels that help drive profitable customer behavior and engagement in our brand
  • Be a key member and leader within the UO Digital Group working directly with leadership to define and activate strategic growth initiatives for the brand’s digital business
  • Support the development of medium to long-term digital strategy roadmap
  • Drive the vision and execution for digitally enabled growth across multiple channels
  • Engage collaboratively with the Marketing, Analytics, Finance and Creative teams to establish KPIs and define the learning and testing agendas


Preferred Skills

  • 3-5 years of digital strategy, analytics, and e-commerce experience (prior management consulting experience preferred)
  • Excellent analysis skills with proficiency in reporting suites such as Google Analytics and experience with SQL
  • Demonstrated success working in an integrated cross-functional team environment, with the ability to actualize growth opportunities end-to-end from assessment to execution
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with prior experience communicating with senior leaders
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling
  • A passion for digital growth, innovation, and all-things-customer
  • Experience with Customer Journey building and analysis (SFMC experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of CRM technology management, with a strong understanding of marketing analytics


Education

Bachelor’s Degree (M.S. preferred) in Business, Marketing or Statistics.
