Billion-dollar asset manager in the final stages of an IPO, looking for a VP to join their innovative team!

Essential Functions

• Help develop, refine, design and implement new scenarios within which to forecast balance sheet, income statement, cashflow statement and key performance indicators such as Earnings per Share
• Integrate monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts of relevant metrics and income allocation across legal entities
• Help compare projections to actuals in ledger systems when rolling forward the model every quarter
• Provide quantitative and analytical support to help reconcile spreadsheet models with systematic implementations of financial forecasts
• Suggest unit tests to verify model outputs are correct • Communicate output of work with external parties such as investment bankers, auditors, equity analysts, and regulators
• Provide overall financial analysis and modeling support to Senior Leadership, including the Chief Executive Officer and the Executive Vice President

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics. Master’s Degree in Accounting is preferred.
• At least 4 years of industry experience in accounting or financial forecasting, preferably in private equity and/or investment banking
• Strong Excel skills
