We are looking for smart, energetic, diligent, team-oriented and experienced M&A professionals to join our teams across Europe and the US.


The Vice President role at Equiteq will play a critical part in client engagement, delivery and internal operations. You’ll be given a significant amount of responsibility including representing the firm as the day-to-day client contact, leading transaction workstreams, owning financial and qualitative analyses, and contributing significantly to origination / pitch efforts.

What are we looking for?


Knowledge & Experience:


  • Likely to have 5-7 years investment banking experience from an investment bank, boutique or accountancy firm and looking to step into a project leadership role
  • Deep experience and understanding of the M&A process and relevant commercial considerations – ability to translate knowledge into valuable client advice
  • Demonstrated project management skills – ability to manage complex workstreams and team dynamics towards successful outcomes under demanding timeframes
  • Strong written and presentational skills – ability to drive key points backed by a deliberate thought process
  • Ability to effectively interact with client management teams, boards of directors, and 3rd party advisors and stakeholders
  • Experience in training, supervising and quality assuring Analysts’ work product
  • Experience in leading aspects of client pitches
  • Sound judgment, particularly in valuation matters, with strong analytic skills
  • Business services/consulting sector M&A experience highly valued
